Kim Spreder

Kim Spreder is the Workforce Development Manager for BE NKY Growth Partnership (BE NKY).

In this role, she is responsible for leading BE NKY’s Build + Elevate NKY Workforce initiative.

She will work to determine the root causes of Northern Kentucky’s workforce challenges, engage existing tradable sector employers in ascertaining current workforce needs and gaps, and identify workforce trends to prepare for future business growth.

Kim earned her Certified Workforce Development Professional Certification, and she is one of only nine people in Kentucky, and three in Northern Kentucky, with this designation.

Kim previously worked for Brighton Center, Inc. in multiple capacities, mostly recently at the Kentucky Career Center as the Regional Workforce Strategies Coordinator.

She graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in social work, and also served in the U.S. Army as a wheeled vehicle mechanic.

This year, Kim completed the Talent Pipeline Management Champion Workshop through the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and hopes to build on that experience in her new role.

She is a Kentucky native and enjoys being active outdoors and exploring the NKY region.
