Jacob Edmonds

Jacob Edmonds is the Business Growth Manager for BE NKY Growth Partnership (BE NKY). Jacob develops and delivers an economic development lead generation strategy to attract new primary industry companies to Northern Kentucky. He directs business expansion and attraction efforts through a targeted industry approach with customized data analysis and prospect development spurring economic growth. He also conducts research on opportunities for new business leads and keeps up to date on economic development, business, and industry trends.

Jacob joined BE NKY in October 2018 as Economic Development Specialist managing BE NKY’s Sites & Buildings portal through Zoom Prospector, responses to RFIs and community data sources. Prior to joining BE NKY, Jacob worked at the University of Louisville in the Innovation and Commercialization Unit, where he helped research and innovations developed at the University find their home in the marketplace.  He also worked at Northern Kentucky University as Special Assistant to the Vice President of Government and Community Relations. Together they expanded NKU’s relationship with local and regional stakeholders and advocated on behalf of the University with elected officials.

Jacob holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a specialization in Community and Economic Development from the University of Louisville, and a BA in Political Science from Northern Kentucky University. He is a member of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Young Professionals Advisory Committee.
