Kimberly Rossetti

VP of Economic Development

Kimberly Rossetti is Vice President of Economic Development for BE NKY Growth Partnership (BE NKY).

She leads BE NKY’s economic development team, which is focused on attracting new businesses to Northern Kentucky and helping our existing primary industry companies grow and expand. Her team works with elected officials and leaders in Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties, community partners, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development in helping companies make the significant business decision of investing in our region.

Since 2020, Kimberly and her team have won 97 projects, representing nearly $1.2 billion in capital investment and 7,189 new jobs announced.

Kimberly joined BE NKY in August 2019 and built an entirely new team that encompasses seven positions, including Director of Business Retention, two Client Relations Managers, Business Growth Manager, Workforce Development Manager, and two Client Relations Specialists.

Throughout 2021, Kimberly led a Target Industry Study with EY. The full report was released in January 2022 and identified four target industry clusters, and 13 subclusters, that will be used as a guide for a balanced economic development agenda in our region. Kimberly is leading her team as they build a business growth plan around these clusters and increase outreach to existing companies to better support their success.

Through Kimberly’s development of a new business retention program, her team has held more than 300 meetings over the past two years with leaders of primary industry companies in our three counties.

Kimberly led relationship building with companies such as Fidelity Investments, ADM, Dollar General, Perfetti Van Melle, R.A Jones, Protective Life, Amazon, ZEISS Vision Care, 80 Acres Farms, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Summit Packaging Solutions, DAV, FEAM AERO, and many others.

She serves on the Board of Directors of the Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board (WIB) and the European American Chamber of Commerce (EACC). In 2022, she was appointed to the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky’s Board of Directors by Boone County Judge/Executive Gary Moore.

She was elected to the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED) in November 2020 and recognized by KAED with the 2020 Founders’ Award. She currently serves as the Vice Chair for this organization. She is also a member of the International Economic Development Council and Industrial Asset Management Council.

Prior to joining BE NKY, she most recently served as the Vice President for Economic Development at Commerce Lexington Inc., the Chamber of Commerce and economic development group in Lexington, KY. Kimberly graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising.
