Angela Mulberry

Angie Mulberry is Director of Business Retention for BE NKY Growth Partnership (BE NKY). In her role, Angie focuses on outreach and building BE NKY’s relationships with existing Northern Kentucky primary industry companies to assist them in sustaining and growing their operations in the region. She works with the region’s existing companies, state, and local community partners to solve business challenges and uncover opportunities for expansion and job creation in Northern Kentucky.

In 2023, Angie met with roughly 150 companies and assisted them with overcoming challenges, accessing state programs that support new jobs and investment in Northern Kentucky, and secure money to train employees. Eight NKY companies received nine allocations of funding through Kentucky’s Bluegrass State Skills Corporation to train new and existing employees.

Seventy-five percent of BE NKY’s project wins in 2023 came from our existing industry base.

Prior to joining BE NKY, Angie worked in the executive office for the Prysmian Group, formerly General Cable, as a Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO and CFO. She also worked at Duke Energy for eleven years. In her last six years with Duke, she led projects, managed budgets, and helped maintain and strengthen the company’s relationship with stakeholders across two states and multiple jurisdictions in the Community Relations, Government Affairs and Economic Development department.

Angie graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in Economics.
