Erlanger, Ky. – DHL Express, the world’s leading international express services provider, today announced it will recruit approximately 900 new positions as the company completes the latest$108 million expansion ofits Americas Hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport. The expansion to a new day sort operation and projected growthinshipments is expected to increase the hub’s workforce to more than 3,300 from the current 2,400 employees.
In order to fill these new positions, DHL will hold a job fair on Saturday, March 4, at the CVG Centre in Erlanger. Those hired should be ready to begin workas soon as pre employment processing is complete andno later than May 1stwhen the new Daytime operation is scheduled to begin.

This latest expansion features a new north ramp that’s built on 45 acres of land and provides parking space for 16 additional planes,bringing the hub’s total capacity to 65 aircraft gates. The expansion also includes additional automated sorting capability and 40 new reload positions that will enhance the hub’s ability to handle the growing shipment volume expected to be seen in the United States and throughout the Americas. It also adds new storage and warehouse space for ramp equipment and shipping containers.
DHL has invested more than $280 million in its Americas Hub at the CVG airport since 2009. The company’s Americas Region encompasses North and South America as well as the Caribbean.

The expected shipment growth will require DHL to add a new day shift seven days a week, beginninginMay, to complement the evening shifts currently running at the hub.

The DHL Express Job Fair will be held on Saturday, March 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CVG Centre at 77 Comair Blvd. in Erlanger, Ky. The positions to be filled include the new daytime shift as well as the existing evening shifts. DHL will be filling both exempt and non-exempt positions, including some supervisorypositions.
Job applicants should bring two forms of government-issued ID, and be able to successfully pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test.
