Client Relations Managers Devon Stansbury and Jeremy Worley are celebrating their second BE NKY-versaries and we asked them a few questions about what they’ve learned, their goals for next year, the best kept secret about Northern Kentucky and their favorite foods in the Cincinnati region.

Devon is a proud UC Bearcats fan and alumna.

  1. What’s the most important thing you’ve learned since joining BE NKY?

Everything is a group effort. It takes our team, our communities, our partners, and the state – everyone plays a role in achieving what we do or do not accomplish.

  1. What do you want to accomplish or learn in the next year?

I want to sharpen my knowledge and skills surrounding all the phases that we assist our clients with, like site selection, incentives, and workforce. I want to hone in where I can do better in these areas and how I can better tailor my skills to serve our clients with confidence.

  1. What’s your favorite BE NKY memory?

Every time our whole team is together – whether that’s for our planned or impromptu happy hours, lunchtimes, watch parties, brainstorming sessions, team meetings, and our one-off random side conversations in the office. I love when we’re all together regardless of what we’re doing. I also love how I always feel supported by every single person. There is a genuine level of care we have for one another in the workplace and in our personal lives as well. We’re not just a team; we’re family.

  1. What is Northern Kentucky’s best kept secret?

Variety. I really feel like we have something for everyone in NKY. Whether that’s with our restaurants, recreational activities, neighborhoods, places to go, and events offered, I feel like Northern Kentucky has a little bit of everything that can cater to a wide audience. Depending on what I feel like doing, there’s always something that fits what I’m looking for on any given day.

  1. What’s your favorite Cincinnati-style food or restaurant?

Aside from Skyline, the next in line are Italian restaurants Sotto and Pepp & Dolores in Cincinnati. I also love any place that has a rooftop, or any great view, with a charcuterie board and wine.

Jeremy Worley

Jeremy Worley is a double NKU graduate, earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master of Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University.

  1. What’s the most important thing you’ve learned since joining BE NKY?

The importance of having sites and buildings ready for the market. The speed of construction and permitting does not necessarily match the speed of business.  Communities need to ensure they are ready today for tomorrow’s business.

  1. What do you want to accomplish or learn in the next year?

I would like to continue developing my skills as a drone operator to help highlight our sites, but what’s most important is our community keeps getting better at providing opportunities and prosperity for all Northern Kentuckians.

  1. What’s your favorite BE NKY memory?

It has to be our happy hours or team events.  We do “teamwork” really well here and sharing success is a big part of that.  I like how we always celebrate for and with each other.

  1. What is Northern Kentucky’s best kept secret?

Can the best kept secret really be the Ohio River?  I think it’s highly underrated from a development and recreation standpoint.  There’s a ton of opportunity to make the river so much more than it is now.

  1. What’s your favorite Cincinnati-style food or restaurant?

When it comes to food or drink, I’m always going to go towards bourbon.  That’s not cheating – it’s at least 51% corn!
