New investment expands Camco’s Northern Kentucky operations and strengthens regional supply chain capacity for
product and brand owners

September 1, 2026 — RSA Properties, LLC and Camco Chemical today announced plans to construct a new 130,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center on Camco Chemical’s existing Holton Drive campus in Independence, Kentucky. RSA Properties, LLC, the family-owned real estate entity developing and constructing the new site, will work with Furlong Building as the contractor, and Camco will integrate the facility into its operations.

Camco is a third-generation, family-owned business that began in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, more than 65 years ago. Camco and its ownership have built a long record of growth and investment in Northern Kentucky. This latest investment reflects their continued commitment to expanding the capacity and capabilities needed to serve leading product and brand owners as they navigate increasingly complex supply chains. The new facility will expand Camco’s fulfillment and distribution capacity, strengthen its supply chain capabilities and provide additional infrastructure to support continued growth across its contract manufacturing operations in Northern Kentucky.

“Northern Kentucky has always been our home and an important part of Camco’s story and success, and we are proud to continue investing and growing here,” said Adrian Hothem, Camco Chemical President & CEO. “Our customers increasingly need turnkey services that simplify complex supply chains, including manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment, packaging and logistics. This investment strengthens our ability to serve our customers, support our people and build the capabilities Camco needs for its next chapter of growth, where speed and effectiveness in getting product to end users are increasingly critical.”

Camco’s decades of growth has been driven by its family ownership and vision and the ability to leverage Northern Kentucky’s transportation infrastructure, access to critical materials and central geographic location to serve customers. The expansion comes as manufacturers and brands increasingly seek centrally located supply chain partners that can provide flexible manufacturing, warehousing and distribution solutions, mitigate supply risk, reduce costs, improve speed to market and support future growth.

“Kentucky is a place where companies succeed, and Camco’s development of a new distribution center in Northern Kentucky shows our economy continues to support growth,” said Gov. Beshear. “I am proud to see this family-owned Kentucky business thrive as they support good jobs for our people. Camco and the Rolfes family are true Team Kentucky partners, and it’s always a great day when we can celebrate them.”

The expansion reinforces Northern Kentucky’s position as a strategic location for manufacturing, logistics and supply chain operations, supported by strong transportation access, available industrial infrastructure and proximity to customers across the U.S. market.

“Chemical manufacturing plays a critical role in Northern Kentucky’s economy by supporting essential products, strengthening supply chains and creating opportunities for continued business growth,” said Kimberly Rossetti, Chief Economic Development Officer, BE NKY Growth Partnership. “Camco Chemical’s expansion reflects the strength of our region’s advanced manufacturing base and reinforces our ability to help companies grow in a strategic location with the workforce, infrastructure and logistics access they need to compete.”

Building for the Future in Northern Kentucky

The project represents another milestone in Camco’s evolution from its beginnings in 1960 to a multi-generational business serving customers across a diverse range of markets, including consumer household goods and institutional, commercial and industrial products. In 2024, Camco and its ownership acquired and renovated the former IRS facility in Florence, Kentucky to support its growth.

“We planned for the future use of these remaining 14 acres for more than 15 years, and we are excited to bring that vision to life,” said Hothem. “This project reflects our family ownership group’s commitment to investing in Camco, our community and the team members who serve our customers and support our continued growth.”
