Covington, KY – BE NKY Growth Partnership (BE NKY) announced that Kate Ferrer has joined the organization as Economic Development Manager.

 

“Kate’s experience in local and regional economic development and her specific training in economic development are strong assets,” said Dan Tobergte, President and CEO of BE NKY. “The economic opportunities that exist in our region require talented individuals for continued growth. Ferrer was previously an economic development specialist for the City of Urbana, Illinois. She administered the City’s business incentives programs and assisted new businesses in locating commercial properties, navigating City services and identifying resources for relocating or expanding in Urbana. She earned a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and Bachelor of Arts, business administration, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
