TiER1 Performance Solutions Chairman & Founding Partner Normand Desmarais and Camco Chemicals President & CEO Adrian Hothem Join Board

FT. MITCHELL, KY – The BE NKY Growth Partnership (BE NKY) announced today that Normand Desmarais, Chairman and Founding Partner of TiER1 Performance Solutions, and Adrian Hotham, President & CEO of Camco Chemicals, were appointed to the company’s Board of Directors for three year terms effective March 10, 2020.

Desmarais, a serial entrepreneur, has started several successful businesses, many of which have received national press and recognition for accomplishments in training, publishing, and web development. TiER1 was launched in 2002 by founding partners Desmarais, Greg Harmeyer and Kevin Moore. Through their leadership, TiER1 has grown to over 200 employees with six offices throughout the U.S.

Hothem was named President and CEO of Camco Chemicals in January 2020. He has held various leadership positions at Camco over the last eight years, including Vice President of Business Development, and was previously a Corporate Officer. He leads more than 200 team members at Camco Chemical, a chemical contract manufacturer, and is focused on expanding the company’s supply chain service capabilities and geographic footprint as it serves customers ranging from start-ups to market leading brands and multi-national corporations across the world.

In addition to BE NKY’s Board of Directors, Desmarais currently serves on the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents, Kentucky Commission on Small Business Advocacy, and Gateway Community and Technical College Foundation Board.

Hothem holds a Bachelor in Business from Miami University and a MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

BE NKY is governed by a twenty-three member Board of Directors, comprised of business and community leaders, who are unpaid volunteers. The nominating committee, including the Judge Executives from Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties, Board Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, approves nominees who are then considered and appointed by the full Board.
