Duke Energy selected Inland Industrial Park North in Walton, Ky., for its 2026 Site Readiness Program. The program helps prepare high-potential industrial properties for economic development investment and markets them to companies considering locations or expansions in the Greater Cincinnati region.

“Companies need sites that are ready for investment, and Duke Energy’s Site Readiness Program helps Northern Kentucky stay competitive for those opportunities,” said Kimberly Rossetti, Chief Economic Development Officer at BE NKY Growth Partnership. “By evaluating sites, we can identify infrastructure needs, address potential barriers and better position properties for investment. The selection of Inland Industrial Park North strengthens our portfolio of market-ready sites and our ability to attract new jobs and investment to Northern Kentucky.”

In 2020, two properties in the City of Walton – one in Boone County and one in Kenton County – were chosen by Duke Energy to be part of the Site Readiness Program. Since 2010, the program has evaluated 44 sites in Ohio and Kentucky, helping attract 21 companies representing more than 5,500 jobs and $3.6 billion in capital investment.
