Lorraine O’Moore

Lorraine O’Moore is Workforce Development Manager for BE NKY Growth Partnership.

In this role, she is responsible for leading BE NKY’s Build + Elevate NKY workforce initiative, which includes delivering customized workforce solutions and assisting BE NKY in supporting existing businesses, community partners and companies looking to make a home in Northern Kentucky.

She also oversees BE NKY’s strategic investments in K-12 programs that strengthen the region’s future talent pipeline, including Adopt A Class, TradesNKY, and NaviGo’s College and Career Prep.

O’Moore has more than 30 years’ experience in workforce development, most recently as Director of Work-Based Learning at NaviGo, where she assisted businesses with developing tailored work-based learning programs and robust talent pipelines.

O’Moore is a 2022 graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky (LNK), through which she co-chairs LNK’s “Talent Pipeline Day” committee, and she established the NKY College & Career Counselor Network, comprised of K-12, post-secondary, industry and community partners. She was also named “Workforce Professional of the Year” in 2024 by the Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board.

She graduated from the Open University in Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in developmental and social psychology, and youth perspectives and practices.

In her free time, O’Moore enjoys visiting antique stores, going to concerts and festivals with her husband, and spending time with her two sons and four rescue cats.
